@laifa_l I've read quite a few and he does far worse things for money (in the old comic eras) than Krabs but I feel like Krabs is more looney and chronically obsessed with money than he is

@SussySpongey Decent episode, but I do think the reveal that the penny was a gum that then turned out to be a dollar to be very cheap.

@SussySpongey At least Scrooge McDuck cares about his family as well as he likes money, Plus as established in both the 87 and the 2017 show Scrooge worked hard to earn his cash, Krabs rarely cares for his friends and family he likes money more times than even Spongebob himself.

@SussySpongey Pretty sure it would Krabs, like Scrooge might be greedy but he’s worked hard to earn that money to the point that he can swim in it.

@SussySpongey Krabs embodies Greed, Scrooge embodies Gluttony. Scrooge hordes money, but he's willing to spend it if it means he'll make more money than he spent. Krabs wouldn't part with a single cent to save his life, and gets everything as cheap as possible.

@SussySpongey Scrooge is someone who loves money because he knows how much it needs to earn it, it's a memory of all his struggles and how proud he is to be where he is now. Mr. Krabs is the poor that never got over being poor, he NEEDS to be around money to feel safe.

@SussySpongey I’m not sure whatever to laugh or feel frustrated by them literally reusing the exact same clip after like 3 seconds (literal MHA Flashbacks). But guess its okay in this case since its not THAT long and conveys the sheer absurdity of Krabbs’s thought process.

@SussySpongey Yeah, and that was when he was at his best written that was when he could’ve been considered a good person I’m not sure about now. He definitely wasn’t during the bad era.

@SussySpongey one of the most famous moments of spongebob history is when mr krabs sells the soul of his best employee for 62 cents

@SussySpongey People mention Scrooge doing stuff like deforestation but I feel like the reason he’s done that and not Krabs is due to differences in wealth and not differences in morals. Scrooge is simply far far far richer and can afford such expeditions, whereas Krabs really only has the KK-

@SussySpongey Say what you will, Scrooge cares more for his family than his entire fortune, and in both the original and 2017 Ducktales series, he puts all his money at risk/ready to give it all away to save them from whatever troubles they’re in

@SussySpongey To be fair in the reboot, glomgold stole 56 cents more from scrooge, and scrooge some how noticed and went insane cuz he knew that amount was missing but didn't know who stole it at the time
