The YAC piloted our first ever baseball clinic in partnership with SF Baseball Academy. They’ve also organized fun outings to the Children’s Creativity Museum for lego and perler bead workshops. Leadership opportunities like these are rare for youth with disabilities.

The YAC provides guidance and support to organizations and governing bodies, actively participating in various projects and community initiatives. In 2024, the YAC took on leadership roles in our community by volunteering at our family festivals to distribute lunch to attendees.

This is an SFCD initiative aimed at bringing young individuals with disabilities together in an innovative and creative platform that considers their unique characteristics to achieve something greater.
