So Saturday 17th saw a number of the team take part in a special charity match v a Guest XI side of ex pro players. Whilst the result was a tad one-sided, it proved to be an amazing day for everyone involved. We raised £3500 for @SandsUK 🧡💙

Its game day tomorrow & the lads pit themselves in a rematch against Ruby FC @DaventryTownFC 2pm ko. Not only will we play for our lost angels and for those who have suffered loss, we will also mark our game for Armistice Day by each wearing a Poppy Armband 🧡🫶💙#LestWeForget

Luke gives his all every time he pulls on the mighty Sands shirt in rememberance of his daughter, Wren. #LF15 🧡💙 Wren 🪽

A highlight for Luke was pocketing 👀 legend Marc Richards in the Sands Utd v Allstars game this year. Another fond memory is his experience at Loughborough away and squeezing us all in the snug changing rooms.

Luke joined Sands in November 2024 after the loss of his daughter, Wren. Likened to Paul Scholes, purely for looks and not the footballing ability. He will play wherever needed as he openly admits he is equally as useless in all positions.

To mark the last day of #BLAW there will be a #WaveOfLight at 7pm. This involves uploading a photo of a lit candle in rememberance of a lost child / baby or in memory of someone who has suffered. This is known as the wave of light. Join us at 7pm sharing your lit candles 🕯🩷🫶💙

The club would also like to thank @DaventryTownFC for allowing us to use their fantastic facilities and for all their support. If you are local go and support them on match days. A warm, friendly and welcoming environment for everyone of all ages 🧡🫶💙

A very special night for the lads last night playing in our BLAW game. It was an honour to share the pitch with so many, all supporting each other. The evenimg was made even more special with our very own @scottbriandavis sharing the pitch with his dad who scored a Pen 🩷🫶💙

Ryan Ellison, a once marauding winger turned Defender/utility man with pace declining at a similar rate to his hair line (it’s got worse since this photo). He’s been with the club since they first started in 2018, scoring 2 goals in 12 games during that season.
