Some thoughts of things I think might help the @AutodeskRevit Family Types UX. 1. Edit parameter names directly in family types.2. Show which parameters are Shared in family types.3. Click and drag parameter order.4. Auto-complete parameter names when creating formulas. 1/2.

Is anyone using the Revit Shared Parameter service? I've been looking at it over the last couple of days and while the idea looks good it feels a total nightmare to administer. The application of Tags especially seems absolutely terrible. Am I missing something?.

Why do @DynamoBIM's Excel Import nodes hate me so much? The only nodes I find that are in any way reliable are the old Bumblebee ones by @arch_laboratory. 😭.

Does anyone know of any good books that discuss the principles of saving/filing and retrieving files? I feel sure someone must have written about this and the different mindsets between these two fundamental tasks. .

I don't post must personal stuff on here but I'm thrilled to say my niece has got 3 Cs in her A-Levels today and has accepted an offer from Dundee. It's a horribly stressful time for students so I'm sure there is relief all round in their household!.

#bim folk. If proposed, how likely would you be to drop P and C prefixes to revisions and just start going numerically? using status codes to indicate if something is prelim or contractual?.There are some big pros when it comes to the S5-A# transition from a QC point of view.

One thing I've never quite understood about the Orchid @dynamopackage is why it seems to duplicate so many of the OOTB nodes. Are these intended to be more efficient or is there some other reason?.

I love this kind of technology and seeing it use digital information. How long will it be though, before contractors start asking for specifically tailored digital info from the design team to allow them to utilize this tech but for no additional fee?.

Need to look at automating my column mapping against parameters and linking my source data (currently manual in both instances) but my 'proof of concept' version seems to be working. All hail PowerQuery. 🤣😁.
