Fascinating this is, isn't it? Literally looks like he's doing a Pep impression. Can only imagine the football brain Stones has now after nearly a decade with him. Wonder if he'll go into coaching?

@StevenMcinerney I reckon quite a few of our players could go into coaching.

@StevenMcinerney I really hope pep doesn’t make a lot of coaches in his mold tbh yes his football is brilliant because it’s efficient but it’s so incredibly boring to watch

@StevenMcinerney Noticed on Tuesday him telling players where to stand. First time I've seen it for City, does it often for England.

@h17mcfc Fair. Though kdb said the same once actually and he's recently thought about coaching. People change as they age

@StevenMcinerney He's clearly seen something in someone's movement and run to the teacher for a solution. You can see that not only is he learning he is suggesting what the issue is and how it can be solved.

@StevenMcinerney I think there's a huge correlation between the ability to play in those positions Stones plays, and having that tactical awareness to be a good coach. Majority of good coaches now are those that have played DM in possession based teams

@StevenMcinerney Pep must feel pretty fond of him. Been there from the start. Him & Kevin the only two right?

@StevenMcinerney He’s English. None of that knowledge will be retained and he’ll be a terrible coach just like ALL others before him

@StevenMcinerney During an injury break against Copenhagen I noticed Stones remaining with Pep the longest to talk about the dynamics of the game.
