Don't underestimate your skills, you can create a very complicated app/game and no-one would care about it, also you can create a basic app/game yet millions of people would download and use it.
It's all about the idea.

For me, the act of coding an app or website from scratch is super fun and motivating in itself. I think we should prioritize fun when learning to code.
