🚩This is sickening! The B416 rich list control clowns and Luxon fought over who was going to be credited with ushering in digital ID. B416 pissed off at Luxon for announcing legislation to ban social media for under 16’s (really mass digital ID) before B416 did the official

Jessica Berlin is spot-on. But it is not just Europe that has to stop 'babying' Trump. Liberal democracies like NZ and Australia have to start putting their interests ahead of fawning over a president that clearly does not share their commitments to the rule of law or free trade.
For 10 years, Europe has reacted to every new Trump absurdity with the same response: outrage, handwringing, paralysis. We need to stop staring at the American car crash and finally start driving. Trump serves only himself. Europe must act for itself.👇

1. Sold property at the top of the market. 2. Crashed the property market. 3. Drove down interest rates. 4. Him and his greedy mates buy in cheap with reduced interest rates at the bottom of the market. Are we all watching this corruption??
Through reducing wasteful government spending, we have been able to help drive down inflation and interest rates, leaving Kiwis with cheaper mortgage repayments. Today, the OCR was cut again to 2.25%, down from 5.5% under Labour. As a result, annual repayments on an average

So our corrupt govt is going to abolish Regional Councils! The only arm of govt that specifically protects our clean water & the environment on a regional basis. They are critical to our survival. Another appalling attack on nature!! #NationalNotFitToGovern #nzpol

@AynRandy666 District councils manage just fine. See Nelson/Tasman. All under local control.

They’re just taking the piss now. Nicola Willis suggests National may join other parties campaigning to repeal Regulatory Standards Act
nzherald.co.nz
The National deputy leader said her party may also campaign to get rid of the law.

@MaraetaiMike It really does indicate the level of ‘self interest’ for many MPs in returning interest deductions for landlords and reducing the bright line test back to 2 years

Let’s talk about foreign interference in Nz society. I’ve always been suspicious of that Freedom movement that sprung up out of nowhere with professional placards - then spaced themselves down main roads in a strategised way that amplified their message
bhahahahhahahahahaha FUCKING BUSTED knew it YANKS heritage foundation. atlas. so who are you really bitches @HobsonsPledgeNZ

This is effectively an asset sale. The asset, a toll-free public road, comes under private control for decades and is tolled. In return, the govt gets money up front.
The govt, without any consultation or select committee process, has slipped in a new law allowing them to toll existing roads It's to a) stop people avoiding new PPP toll roads by taking existing roads b) allow govt to sell the ability to toll an existing roads for cash up front

I thought there had to be an alternate free route?
@ClintVSmith That is a blatant lie, boy. Our law states there must be a free route around any toll roads. So it only catches cheapskate who don't want to help our communities have nice things.

This might be the plan all along - it’s not privatising the Interislander - it’s retiring or letting Blue bridge be the Interislander. We just haven’t been told that’s the plan. Winston keeps announcing non plans & no boats - stringing us along -it’s bait & switch
I thought Druncle promised the new Interislander ferries would be rail enabled, no? Has he been lying again? https://t.co/H92ELHoMMl

Mitchell says he wasn't aware of the allegations until months after his office's response.

@NewstalkZB And what ever happened to Michael Forbes, Luxons press secretary, who did the same thing?

So did I read this 1news article correctly: the current govt has changed the law, to allow unregistered unqualified teachers to teach at its charter schools. And to also allow random groups to do hostile takeovers of public schools. And the person spearheading the campaign is
1news.co.nz
Bangerz Education and Wellbeing Trust wanted to convert Kelston Boys’ High School into a charter school.
