There was a great turnout in Grace's Irish Centre this afternoon, for a rehearsed reading of the one woman play Rebel Heart by the talented actress Jasmine Main. The play is about Margaret Skinnider, the Coatbridge born revolutionary and heroine of the 1916 Rising.

Ian Scottie MacKenzie Kennedy died in defence of the Republic in that battle and is one of 3 foreign born Volunteers buried in the Cork Republican Plot along with Sean Phelan (Liverpool) and Joe Murphy (USA).
