I would really like to not have all of my chat messages inaccessible, since I accidentally clicked into the new chat interface? @nikitabier this is insane. I don't give a shit about E2E encryption here. I have signal for that. I do give a shit about seeing my old messages.

caps lock, when held down, is control, and escape when released. Annoyingly, when I press it in slack (i.e. to type escape), slack shows a bunch of keyboard shortcut popovers.

Key bindings are rivalrous and non-excludable. Mouse event handlers (click, etc) are effectively excludable. The reason we can't have keyboard-first apps is due to the tragedy of the commons.
