@StanleyKubrick What a film. The only things that have aged are the costumes and furniture in a couple scenes. Beyond impressive for a film that came out in 1968!

@StanleyKubrick @HAL_9OOO_ What’s under-appreciated about this shot is that light reflects off the pen but not the glass. The reflection sells the effect. So later when Kubrick “accidentally” catches himself in a reflection from Bowman’s helmet, you can be sure it was no accident. Kubrick knew reflections.
