Mr McCutcheon’s S2 class celebrated Pi day 2022 by making a pi chain representing the first 500 decimal places of pi. Each colour represented a digit in the number. Great work!!
Tomorrow is the turn of National 5 Applications of Maths, Higher and Advanced Higher. Everyone has worked so hard throughout the year and you are all going to do brilliantly. Best of luck from us all in the department!!

Casio scientific calculators are on offer for £3.25 in Tesco. Reduced from the usual £10/12. This is the calculator we believe is the best for the pupils. Be quick before they all go!!!
Higher pupils. Supported study will start on Thursday after school in M9 with Miss Gierlowski. There will also be drop in sessions on Monday and Thursday with Mr McCutcheon in M1. Please come prepared with questions you are struggling with to get some help.
National 5 supported study will be on tomorrow from 4.30-5.30 online. This week we will be focusing on indices, linear equations, trigonometry and simultaneous equations. Solutions to last weeks questions will be on the teams page shortly
Higher Supported Study will be after school on Wednesday’s. Information on what topics will be focused on each week will be given in next few days. Hope to see you all there!!

National 5 Supported Study starts on Tuesday. 4.30pm-5.30pm online. You will all soon be added to a Teams page for this. We will be focusing on Straight Line, fractions, percentages, algebraic fractions, surds and indices this week.
Supported Study dates and topics outlined below for Higher, National 5 and Nat 5 apps. All dates are after school. Please make sure to attend, especially topics you are struggling with most.
It was an assured first appearance at firhill last night for academy U18 centre back Joe McDonald against Rangers Colts in the Glasgow Cup.
In total, nine U18/17’s players featured in the match squad gaining valuable experience playing alongside several first team players.
