Hello everyone, a Surgeon here.. It’s okay if those with “top” ranks don’t take surgery, as long as those “who want” surgery are taking it. But there is definitely a problem when those not very keen on taking surgery opt for it.. There is no correlation between entrance exam
India’s top-performing medical graduates have made their preference clear in this year’s NEET-PG counselling — career stability is trumping the operating table. In the first round of NEET-PG 2025, medicine and radiology dominated choices among high-rankers, while general surgery

Read a tweet mentioning “steep learning curve” of surgical branches as a factor for youngsters not choosing surgery.. The myth- Steep learning curve is NOT long learning curve. It is a shorter learning curve. Many confuse long learning curve with steep.

Scary regression of human race where brutal behaviour happens at drop of a hat
📍Indian Navy officer's wife was thrown out of a moving train by TT just for argument, who died on the spot @RailMinIndia Recently An Army officer was also killed by a Train Pantry guy for an argument. Country is feeding Freeloaders & other side Killing Hindu Taxpayers😡

Till date, unable to understand the logical reasoning behind sharing such videos.. The desire to film it to post it on social media is not empathy.. for sure..

If surgeons have to stay in practice to do evidence based management of breast cancer, they have to study basics of clinical genetics, genomics and proteomics.. Hereditary breast cancer and BRCA is no longer one disease- it’s a multiverse in itself.. Launching soon— Cancer
What matters more in BRCA? TYPE vs LOCATION of the variant 🧬🤔 🧬 Key Findings Protein-truncating BRCA1 variants = WORSE OS HR 2.00 vs non-truncating ❗ Missense = BEST prognosis ✨ • BRCA1 missense → HR 0.48 • BRCA2 missense → HR 0.17 📍 Exon location matters • BRCA1

The link between FANCM variants and breast cancer has been difficult to clarify. While past studies have shown mixed results, particularly for truncating variants and triple-negative breast cancer, our new large meta-analysis and functional data help make sense of the evidence.
