Denji stomping on a raven is a callback to Asa doing the exact same thing but with a chicken back in Chapter 112.
The Chicken signifies death as we know from Asa's dream, but what does the raven mean?
@SpyGGhetti
There’s also a chance that fujimoto didn’t want to add a random chicken in the alley way and replaced it with a raven but it would be cool to have another meaning

@jeannesfangs
Something to do with makima is my guess. Crows have been associated with her for a while, and i don’t think fujimoto would place one here for no reason.
@SpyGGhetti
correct me if im wrong, but could it be a callback to makima? didnt she use ravens? makima controlled every aspect of denjis life when she met him. currently, every aspect of denjis life is still being controlled by others. maybe symbolic of him taking his freedom of choice back?
@SpyGGhetti
It is about Nayuta and Pochita asks Denji what is next in the next pages. It maybe means Denji is going to end his ordinary life with Nayuta and become Chainsaw Man, following his own path instead of being dependent on his sister
@SpyGGhetti
The crow may signify Denji’s life so far because Makima and Nayuta are in the center of it all (Also Pochita but the raven turns into Pochita). He will just go his own way from now and it will begin a new era for his character.
@SpyGGhetti
Crows and ravens were once the symbol of makjma, or rather the control devil. In his decision to want to be chainsaw man, he steps on the raven. I’m looking at nayuta idk about you guys
