@/ djmrfunnnyman pointed out that Nayuta chains now have changed from their beforehand usual square-y form to circular, like how Makima's were, in the latest chapter. This could be either a different assistant style or symbolism for her becoming more like Makima.

i dont think they were different, just unfinished, like she was weaker, one of the main fears the church pushes is "the japenese adults are being CONTROLLED by the usa" so maybe it is a increase of power or its a sign of her just growing up and learning her power

I like to think that the chains are more circular because she’s beginning to see people/anything beneath herself as dogs (especially after what she did with Asa) like Makima did before her, and what shape of chains are used for dogs?

I personally associate the round link chains I with more practical items or children's toys like swing chains, link clips, etc. It could be an artistic difference and not that deep tho
