The sheer joy of watching Casey Costello, former leader of Hobsons Pledge, publicly humiliate herself on a national stage is almost too much to bear. Her ludicrous attempt to equate nicotine to caffeine, suggesting a latte could cause lung cancer, is just the tip of the iceberg.

@David_Cormack Mitchell is as dumb as a bag of rocks. Everyone knows that Operation Cobalt has been years running and was only tweaked recently for him to pretend it was ‘new’. There are tens of million$ recovered and hundreds convicted. This operation today will have been part of that intel.

Hipkins: If you're the Prime Minister and you're on top of your brief, and know what your government is doing, then answering questions shouldn't be a problem for you.

Luxon will ditch appearing at Parliament's "bridge run" on Tuesdays, a tradition where politicians are questioned before heading into the debating chamber.

Is Reti incompetent or making things up? Chippy says he finds it very difficult to believe that MoH refused to share information with Reti and Treasury and I trust Chippy. https://t.co/bSa9ijC3rT

This is how the coalition government propaganda works they fire the existing board and replace them with one of their mates normally a former National party MP. They then blame the previous administration with accusations of overspending or mismanagment and then slash that

A Labour minister would have been screamed at four weeks to resign over this level of corruption and lies Let's see if @chrisluxonmp and media take the same stance with @cjsbishop This and the fast track letters clearly show a corrupt minister https://t.co/k09swF3QII

NZ Auditor-General is concerned about the #fasttrack bill’s lack of transparency & lack of protection against ministerial conflicts of interest. Will the govt majority on the parliamentary committee considering Bill heed or ignore these serious concerns?

@StrayDogNZ @WillieJLabour Even if it was true that "things didn't improve", how would laying people off improve anything? Why would there be obvious causation? Why and how do they believe those additional workers actually made things worse? Make it make sense.

Here's @WillieJLabour taking National to task for prioritising $2.9 billion of landlord tax breaks over supporting children. Cutting services like teacher aids will have huge impacts on teachers already struggling with the workload of supporting students affected by the pandemic

Isn't the Cook Strait Ferry basically SH1? Why bother with these other expensive fixes to move traffic around Wellington 'faster' if you have a sub-par and dangerous ferry service? https://t.co/MrJTxeNnK7

It would include twin two-lane long tunnels, four kilometres in length, from north of the Terrace Tunnel to Wellington Road.
