A Londoner has run 3,000km across Europe. Kieran Alger, who’s from Chiswick, has just completed his run of the Danube river. We caught up with Kieran moments after he completed his run.

Day 66… ate up all my miles like a good boy. Through non-stop spectacular views. The German Danube just filled my soul right up. And now just 30 miles remain. Tomorrow the journey ends. I’m not sure I’m ready.

Went on the telly, ran 30 more miles of the Danube. Day 65 went pretty well. And now just two runs and 60 miles stand between me and fulfilling a dream 10 years in the making.

Day 64 done. It rained. A lot. I got soaked but was happy I wasn’t burning in the sun. And now just 90 miles remain to cover in three days.

Day 62. Started on the struggle bus. Then I ate a cherry pastry, coffee and glugged an apfel schorle. Suddenly I was a new runner. Got it done with a smile. 5 to go. I’m running the Danube to raise money for vulnerable children worldwide. Donate here: https://t.co/xyhicIlBIX

He's spent the last 60 days running the length of the Danube, but with 10 more to go and the end in sight(ish), how is @KieranAlger getting on? We had a chat to find out and that chat is now a podcast. Listen to it here -

Stage 60 was another cracker. 29 miles bagged through some more stunning German countryside right next to the Danube. Now just 7 runs to go! I’m running the Danube to raise money for vulnerable children worldwide. Donate here: https://t.co/xyhicI40Rp

I knew her a lot better than you Ollie boy. She would be utterly horrified at what your Party has become. The lack of intellectual firepower. The nodding dogs in the Cabinet. The lies, the undermining of rule of law. Neither you nor any of the others would have got a job with her

#OnThisDay in 1983 Margaret Thatcher won a landslide election victory over Michael Foot, returning to parliament with a majority of 144 seats. That sensational victory would allow her to continue changing our country for the better 🇬🇧📈

I'm going for a little run this summer. I hope to become the first person* to run the Danube from Sea to Source. Here's how I plan to run a marathon day for 62 days to to raise money for poverty-impacted children. https://t.co/wdv1SfBhEw *Can't find any record of this being done
