Girls football club was getting very competitive (and muddy) at lunch time but we had great fun. @LeasStAndrews

Yesterday we looked at our endurance skills to see how far we could run in 10 minutes. It tested our perseverance and determination. @LeasStAndrews

We have enjoyed learning all about the incredible life of the brave, determined and fearless Harriet Tubman as part of Black History Week. @LeasStAndrews

In science, we have been looking at the long and short term effects of alcohol, caffeine and solvents on the body. @LeasStAndrews

In our KIRFs sessions this week we have been focussing on finding factors, multiples and prime numbers. @LeasStAndrews

Using the fantastic book Varmints by Helen Ward and Marc Craste, Year 6 have used their acting skills to show empathy for Marty. We are really enjoying this book and would highly recommend it. @LeasStAndrews

What an exciting, interesting and slightly smelly afternoon we’ve had in Y6. Dissecting a pig heart. We identified different parts of the heart including the 4 chambers, valves and saw the network of muscle fibres. @LeasStAndrews

Wow! We have had a fantastic introduction into Egyptian life with hieroglyphs, amulets, games, mummification and lots of amazing artefacts to learn from. Thank you #historicworkshops @LeasStAndrews
