On my first play through a few years ago it lowkey kinda bothered me rex was so young and he was like a lil annoying but like my most recent play through this summer idk what changed but his character def impressed me a lot more and def grew on me a lot :)
If you can't like Rex in Xenoblade 2, then how are you going to like him in Future Redeemed? He's always had a heart of gold, always dead set on a better future, even in future redeemed, he's never changed
