Our lab is celebrating after two were honored with poster awards at this year's NABT! Congrats to @mtsu_biology student Donye Asberry for getting 2nd place in undergraduate research and Ph.D. student Kate Coscia for getting 1st place in graduate research!

Oh look, IT'S MEEEEEEEEE! I've got my first published manuscript now! :)
My first two research students, Slade Goldman & @SnarkDivine, are now PUBLISHED AUTHORS! So excited to share ChemisTree: an interactive game that uses @LEGO_Group tiles & bricks to help intro chem students build electron configurations of atoms & ions!

Signs I probably should be put back on ADHD meds: drinking that coffee-based Starbucks drink yesterday made me the most chill I've been in a LONG time. I didn't have a single meltdown yesterday.

Me and my imposter syndrome during abstract submission: My poster will never get accepted to AAAS. It's too major of a conference and I'm not good enough for that. Me after checking my email this morning: BRB finding some ketchup because I need to eat those words.

Yep! This past time I applied, I had talked with some cool PIs about some really interesting research and I really wanted to be in their labs. Now one of them has a blue-haired overcaffeinated memelord in the lab and she may or may not wish she had skipped that zoom meeting 😂
