underrated yet solid advice here. not everything is fiat or cash payments. fiat only depreciates over time, equity on other hand is tied to the performance of the product. for early stage teams that’s unlimited upside potential right there and there. don’t let short term wins
if you ever work with early-stage teams or become an advisor, always ask for equity…not a big salary. look at every big company like polymarket, X, lighter, those started small too and imagine owning a %. most won’t become that, but one win can outperform every salary you’ve
