Came across @bornsmusic by chance. 10 years late. "Past Lives" is a catchy earworm- the kind which is not pedestrian but musically brilliant - I'd slot it with "When Doves Cry" & "Billie Jean". Then I read, Prince had praised him. What an approval! 👏🏼👏🏼🎶.

President Emmanuel Macron today declared July 12 as Day of National Commemoration for Capt Alfred Dreyfus who was wrongly convicted by a Court Martial in the 19th Century. His honour was restored by the highest civilian court later. A snapshot of the case from our 2021 book:.
The first/opening page of our book "March to Justice- Global Military Law Landmarks", co-edited with @frankrosenblatt, depicted Dreyfus' sordid saga, perhaps one of the biggest instances of miscarriage of justice in history.

Before release, Prince unusually removed the bassline from the song giving it a distinctive sound. In 1984, he simultaneously had the No 1 song (When Doves Cry), the No 1 movie (Purple Rain) & the No 1 album (Purple Rain) on the charts. The album remained on the top for 6 months.
41 years ago today, "When Doves Cry" went to #1 on the Hot 100, giving Prince his first chart-topper on the tally. We had no idea what else to expect because the song is from his upcoming movie Purple Rain. And then that would blow our minds.

Sir, this appears to be incorrect on the face of it. Firstly, the officer is on duty for all intents & purposes. Secondly, as opposed to the Army, Controller of Defence Accts does not have a similar role in the Air Force since IAF has its own Accts Branch with uniformed officers.
Controller of Defence Accounts (CDA) Strikes. Shubhanshu Shukla will not get any salary for his 14-day Axiom-4 mission to International Space Station, reports said. This is because he is neither an employee nor an astronaut on NASA or Axiom's payrolls, but is rather a guest.

On returning from holiday deployment, much to the chagrin of folks at home, it takes a few days (or weeks) for my semi-packed suitcase to return to the stores in the barracks. It keeps languishing in the same semi-filled state in the bedroom and I keep using stuff from it 😬.
