Apparently Sam is at an elevated risk to stop breathing before that shunt gets placed. Not that I'm worried, but I'm upset that I was only told after ranting to a doctor about still being here. The communication here has not been stellar.
Sounds like surgery to place the VP shunt will be Tuesday (subject to change) hoping we can go home Wednesday or Thursday. Sam is still doing great, even if he didn't want us to sleep last night.
