What I love about this NYT piece is that they openly admit between sobs that climate alarmism is just political activism and has little, if anything, to do with actual science.
The New York Times reports today that climate activists are losing the information war. “[Climate skeptics] have succeeded at undermining climate action globally.” 🔗 https://t.co/WphCSAlqRw

"Climate change" will never be "solved," because it is not any more of a problem than it has ever been. The only "solution" to an ever-changing climate is (as always) to maximize societal wealth, not to create energy poverty with economically nonsensical "solutions."
EVs are the future. But it's didn't happen automatically. It happened because China spent a decade investing in this industry to drive costs down and make EVs the better choice. In the US, some like to say climate change is solved because of "technology." That completely

AI, with humanoid robots, can replace every job! I think many of us don’t fully understand why AI, with humanoid robots, will replace so many jobs so quickly. This is due to our understanding of the difference between humanoid use vs automation. Up until now, “robotics” has

Climate “scientists” constantly wonder why there are still so many climate change “deniers” out there, and then the world’s leading scientific authority on the subject takes to social media to post this scientifically unsupportable nonsense. In case it still isn’t clear to you
Climate change is deepening inequalities — and increasing the risk of gender-based violence for women and girls. On the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, let’s act #ForAllWomenAndGirls and build a safer, more climate-resilient future. #16Days

Especially an old hobo. But it can be better if you keep them around for a couple weeks before the feast, and give them corn to fatten them up.

In my experience, hobo is not something you want to serve guests, particularly at Thanksgiving. The meat is generally pretty lean and dry, and can be gristly.
We heard a knock on the back door, and when my dad went to open it there stood an old hobo with his battered hat in hand. “Sir, could I bother you for a bite to eat? Not a handout, mind you, I’m willin’ to work. Mebbe chop some wood for you?” That hobo may not have been rich in

The last time I had someone educate me on the law, the lesson didn’t include a naval battle cry implying I should fight to the death.
This is shameful. It is not a violation of the law to restate the law. Members of the military must not follow orders they know to be unlawful. Here's the court in United States v. Calley (My Lai massacre case): "The acts of a subordinate done in compliance with an unlawful

Western civilization is the most accomplished civilization in human history, yet we're the only civilization that goes around denigrating our own accomplishments. @AnnCoulter and I discuss this and more on 'Unsafe':

The radical partisanship of these teacher unions has been a major contributor to education decline in the US. They see the K-12 school system as as a political means for adults to further their agenda. This is why the unions fought so hard to close schools during COVID; it was
ICYMI: @DefendingEd obtained internal NEA documents showing the union’s upcoming training doesn’t focus on academics, but on attacking Republicans as “racist and transphobic,” pushing race-class-gender narratives, and promoting gender-transition guides for staff.

It is not unprecedented for serving U.S. senators who served honorably in the U.S. military and were service academy graduates to commit treason and betray the Constitution. Jefferson Davis, the first and only present of the Confederate States of America, was a serving U.S.

I remember when it was conventional "wisdom" that Boeing was likely to succeed, and SpaceX more likely to fail, and that's why Boeing got more money.
Starliner’s program got cut from 6 to 4 flights (only 3 of which are crewed). All-in cost (NASA + Boeing’s $2B write-offs): $5.73B For 12 seats → $478 million per seat Crew Dragon: $4.93B for 14 flights / 56 seats → $88 million per seat 5.4× more expensive PER astronaut.

In 2014, NASA awarded a Commercial Crew Transportation Capability contract to Boeing to fly astronauts to and from the International Space Station with its Starliner spacecraft. As part of its contract, Boeing was awarded up to six crewed flights to the orbital complex. After a

@elonmusk This problem has been known, and unaddressed by Meta, for years. They are the PRIMARY channel for sex trafficking, according to Marici, the non-profit fighting it. And trafficking is the world’s fastest growing crime. From 2024: https://t.co/PHD0AsjJvW

Just to be clear here, you saw this video of a guy in a feather headdress at a school board doing the cupid shuffle and pretending its a native dance and you decided that the one who's being a performative theater kid is me for making fun of the spectacle? Oh okay

@heskelbalas @PhilipJohnst0n However, I'm quite optimistic that if we had a proper R&D program can do closer to 20-30% of c and if you're patient enough for intergalactic, can swing by rotating black holes to pick up as much speed as you like.
