Halo died an honorable death on September 14, 2010 with the release of Reach - a game to finish the series with a bang. Halo was resurrected, zombified, and malnourished by poor leadership at 343 and died again today with a sad whimper.

@Silent_SFM Eh no... I will admit that the toxic community helped, but they're not the primary reason 60 people just lost their job, or why a game that was in dev for 6 years has less content than an indie title made in two. I wish halo was in a better place and I hope those employees get+

@spartan_0144 Not what I was getting at, I'm getting at the fact that people are malding about halo being dead and this and that but this behavior from the "Fire343" creeps is what caused it all to start such a nosedive. They tried everything to keep people happy and it was never enough.

@Silent_SFM Wait so let me get this straight. Because we didn't just bend over, take something we didn't like, and then say thank you, it's our fault... Bruh. I'm a customer. I don't owe them shit. If we are to buy the product, it should be to the customers liking.

@Silent_SFM I bet if I look in the comments, people are entirely forgetting that Reach was a Bungie game, and the sort of Halo game that Bungie always wanted to make.

@Silent_SFM I mean let’s not act like 343 made too many good decisions during the decade they’ve had the IP

@Silent_SFM @thedaytimes117 Nah dawg I think the greedy corporation trotting it out for brand recognition after the series was over is what did it in. Fans weren’t the ones making marketing and designs choices that led to declining sales.

@Silent_SFM Microsoft cuts jobs across the board and Halo fans have so much tunnel vision they assume its only 343, like StarFall isn't even out yet and they cut Jobs at Bethesda too

@Silent_SFM Drewski is cool imo but this is a bad take on his part. Halo isn’t dead till 343 or Microsoft say there won’t be a new Halo game!

@Silent_SFM There were many factors, but there actually is a high chance of it actually dieing at Microsoft's hand

@Silent_SFM Bungie throughout their vidocs for Reach called it their swan song. So Halo in their mind included sprint and AA's and just recently said Halo 4 was pretty much what they were going to make.

@Silent_SFM Halo 4 really killed things for me. I wanted to try Infinite with a friend online doing co-op but never happened. I just ended up following Bungie from Halo to Destiny and as I type this now, I'm on Destiny 2 on my other screen. Bungie does have rocky times but their stuff is fun
