Naruto passed the torch to My Hero Academia, and for me, MHA has been the series that has carried better what made Naruto special. Now that MHA is going to end very very soon, I want to see how Naruto and MHA legacy is going to continue in Jump.
Seeing many brazilian comments thinking I've said MHA has reached or surpassed Naruto; receiving the torch isn't the same as reaching or surpassing a manga, what I want to say there is that from the 10s Jump manga, MHA is for me the one carrying the best the spirit of Naruto
And even if MHA hasn't reached the numbers of Naruto, there is no denying it has achieved titanic numbers for a 40-volume manga. I think MHA is in the top-10 of Jump regarding sales per volume, but I should recalculate these numbers to be more sure

Tbh feels like classic jump fantasy adventure battle shonen is dead.
Demon Slayer felt like the last gasp, and even that was “small scale”. New authors want to make the next JJK, not the next One Piece
@ShonenSalto
would’ve said kagurabachi considering that hokazono is inspired by both mangas, but idk if there’s any similarities between kgb and the two lol
@ShonenSalto
Fr Mha is Litterly the Perfect Succesor and Son of Naruto your Series Is Peak and We Made these Classic Magical Never Give Up Things that Made us Narutos Perfect Succecor Even Kishimoto Said he Sees Mha as his Successor
@ShonenSalto
Honestly, I don’t think it’ll happen as often. Like, Naruto ran for 72 volumes and Kishimoto was worn ragged by the end of it. MHA will be only a little more than half that length and Hori still tried to cram as many characters and plotlines into it.
Next time might be smaller.
@ShonenSalto
I agree , people don't like to accept or realize that newer series can be just as good or better than what we grew up with . It's a good thing to have a successor. I love mha
@ShonenSalto
like MHA’s been in my top 3 ever since I watched it(it was my first real anime) and recently I just watched all of naruto for the first time(it took me a month, I couldn’t put it down) and I get the same vibes as I do from MHA and like naruto is also top 3 for me now I LOVED IT
@ShonenSalto
I think that Undead Unluck its *now* the closest manga to this, even though it's not as popular, is the one that reminds me the most of these mangas.
And just ignore brazilian comments (I'm brazilian), they just like to show their anger against Boku no Hero more than usual.
