Today I've learned that I've healed enough from my arm injury that I can play pop'n again with minimal pain. Managed to clear some 42s and 43s after being retired for the better part of 4 years. Might be time to build another pop'n controller and maybe break the 50 barrier

Guess there's a first time for everything, my post got nuked commenting on the VRC ID verification thing. Maybe this one won't. tl;dr my take is it's great for all of us that are adults, but is going to segregate children and the people who are going to use it to their advantage.

I really want to showcase my friends' works and get them out there more, but also show my love for a given song by trying to give my own take on it.

I try my best when playing sets to avoid just straight up dropping other people's tracks unless they're oomfs. If it's an artist I really like but don't know personally I prefer to produce an "edit" at worst (which to me is completely recontextualizing the song) or a remix.

Honestly can't explain how frustrating it is that after I had already packed my things up and was ready to leave for Europe my job issued an RTO when me working from overseas was approved by c suite for a whole year and then the entire market for remote IT imploded 🙃
