Proud to be part of this landmark study on one of the toughest challenges in peds neuro: Vein of Galen Malformations (#VOGM). Our study, led by the visionary Dr. Darren Orbach et al at @BostonChildrens, explored the feasibility of fetal intervention with promising early outcomes.
In utero embolization for vein of Galen malformation is feasible and may reduce mortality and neurodevelopmental delays, but poses a risk of unscheduled, preterm delivery. https://t.co/cToYDYAGok
