15 years ago, people I met abroad wanted to visit / know about America. It’s not like that anymore. Want economic opportunity? Go to Dubai. Want freedom and democracy? Go to Canada, South Africa, Australia. No one is excited about America anymore. That’s… not a good thing.

I personally think discourse in America would improve DRAMATICALLY if we could all regroup around the idea that. We all want the same things. Freedom. Safety. Opportunity. The ability to provide for our families. The ideals that America promises. (4/6).
