@SkapaBenz The covered terrace you can see is an old tobacco barn, unusually, attached to the side of the house the sides of which were removed by our predecessors. Probably dating from the 1940s. It makes a wonderful shaded outdoor space.

@shingler_jo Yes, we had a prolonged period of drought and high temperatures. Of course they don’t stay like this for long as they are grown as a crop and begin running to seed quite quickly. But there is a charm in every stage of their life cycle.
