Our final speaker of the first session Jelle Postma of Justice for Prosperity spoke about how SRHR is weaponized to raise social fears because fear is essential to the anti-rights movement’s power. It is up to us working in #SRHR to take that weapon away from them! #NLforHealth

The criminalizing laws we are seeing chase people away from life-saving treatment, and this has a broad impact on eroding human rights for all, not just marginalized groups. We must stay aware, stand, and support groups fighting for safety, health, and democracy. #NLforHealth

Mukumi Marete (UHAI) spoke about the health and safety of marginalized groups: “People do not want to be refugees; they do not want to seek asylum, the environment has forced people out of their communities.” These communities are at risk if Dutch funding is cut. #NLforHealth
