Looking for experts by experience to consult on materials (interview themes/questions) for my #DClinPsy #thesis. It will be a qualitative study (similar to this study that @krichar25 and I conducted) looking at prioritisation of waiting lists in eating disorder services.
Do you have #livedexperience of any #eatingdisorder, or are a #clinician working in #eatingdisorderservices? Please volunteer to support our #research investigating what factors people think should be used to prioritise people in services. /1

I always leave CAT teaching with a sense of unease, but I can never quite put my finger on what causes the discomfort⦠Curious as to how others have experienced CAT either as provider or recipient?

As Iām slowly coming out the other side, Iāve been curious to what has helped Connection with those that genuinely care & share values has been crucial Iāve also had time to slow down & connect with the playfulness of my inner child that had been lost on the DClin

Recent Reflections š For the past year, the DClinPsy became all-consuming. The constant assessment of who I am as a Psychologist and as a person meant that I completely lost a sense of self despite maintaining interests & a social life.

There is a possibility that I may have to finish the DClinPsy without pay, as Iāve had to take 3 months out due to disability in my final placement If youāve been in a position where youāve had to complete a placement after your contract has ended, would you mind reaching out?

Genuinely donāt know why I put myself through the doctorate sometimes. Canāt help but feel like everything to do with it is set up to go against my lived experiences or how my brain works

Has anyone ever decided to quit the DClinPsy and enter an entirely different profession or field? If so, would it be possible to have a chat?
