We LOVE this informative book review/how to video! Burled wood lids shown were not typical of Shaker oval boxes but they are a beautiful, modern interpretation of the classic Shaker oval box.

This is the Trustee's Office. It is not in the Shaker Heritage Society lease. It is owned by Albany County. SHS recently restored the barn, meeting house and drying house.

Did U know that the Kerry Cows at the Shaker Site are an endangered species? There are only about 24 of them left in the USA and a few hundred in Ireland. They are out in the pasture near the Meeting House every summer. #KerryCow #ShakerHeritage
