@IRHotTakes IMO it also misunderstands the whole philosophy. Light side is balance and harmony, dark side is imbalance and discord.

@Seymour_Lolis @IRHotTakes But I think that this fundamentally misunderstands the sort of Daoist ideas George Lucas was riffing on. The Light Side represents harmony and balance, all things in their place. The Dark Side is disordered, driven by imbalance and strife.

@Seymour_Lolis @Authw8 @IRHotTakes The issue with this is that the Dark Side inherently entices evil. You can't use the Dark Side without being pulled towards evil. Even Mace Windu had to be careful with it despite being trained to harness the Dark Side in his fighting style.
