@StatisticUrban Japan has a similar problem where actually work performance isn't as important as being seen at the office for long hours. Taking naps at work isn't seen as bad because they interpret it as meaning you spend so much time at the office you can't get a proper night's sleep.

Except South Korea actually *overworks* people, to the point where their productivity per hour is among the worst in the developed world.

@StatisticUrban So basically if you spend 14 hours at the office you're seen as a exceptional employee even if you get just be bare minimum work done.
