Thank you to all who visited our Christmas Fayre at Apley last weekend! Special thanks to our Shop Support Manager Victoria and volunteer Audrey, who raised over £1,000 by selling their crochet creations! Did you miss it? We’re at Bicton Heath Christmas Fayre on December 14–15.

Thanks to Dolfor Charity Group which organised a choir night. Builth Male Voice Choir took to the stage, sounded amazing and the event went well. The event raised £1100 - thanks to everyone who organised, attended and performed at the event.

We loved having Katie with us when on placement. Her research about well-being among adults in the UK living with a primary malignant brain tumour (PMBT) is so important.

We had very special visitors this week. The parents at Stargazers Nursery donated food items to us for our kitchen to use. The children met our head chef Amy, stopped for a snack and then enjoyed the Gruffalo trail. Thank you and it was a pleasure to meet you all...

Wellington Cricket Club have supported us for many years as we have cared for friends and family of its members. The club holds events through the year and the latest was a Ladies Day. Nicky popped along to meet with Jo, organiser of the event and thanked the club.

People visiting our hospices are always met with a friendly face, and Nina and Yvonne are two of our receptionists who always have a warm welcome for everyone who walks through our doors. Our receptions are a gateway to our care and we know how important first impressions are.

Members of our fabulous Market Drayton Support Group visited our shop in the town and were treated to coffee and cake and a tour. It was great to catch up with them and hear all about their fundraising ideas for the year.

Dave used his loaf when he organised a fundraiser for us. He was certainly on a roll when he roped in his friends to walk to every Greggs in Telford - but dough-nut be mistaken, this was a real challenge. See more here https://t.co/HRTzPn72wh
