Everybody coming over to say a friendly hello to Fleury in game number 1,000 for MAF. One of the best to ever do it. I don’t say it enough but
#mnwild
fans are lucky to have had this guy on the roster for a few seasons
Is:
Kirill Kaprizov
Justin Jefferson
Anthony Edwards
Royce Lewis
The best quartet of Minnesota stars all playing at the same time this state has had since the Moss/KG days?
With:
Kaprizov out
Middleton out
Brodin out
Duhaime out
Foligno out
2 goals being overturned
I can’t even force myself to be mad about losing to the best team in hockey in a game in which the battle level was definitely where it needed to be
Sometimes that be how it be 🤷🏻♂️
I'm 35 as of today. Throughout like 90% of my ENTIRE LIFE the following have been constants:
The Twins have been looking for pitching help
The Vikings haven't had an Oline
The Wild have been searching for a 1C
The Timberwolves have been searching for a legit PG
Congratulations to Green Bay. No other team in the history of the NFL has had to over come literally every single call going their way every single game.
The Minnesota Wild have never hit 50 wins in a regular season. Their franchise record is 49 in 2016-17
To reach 50 wins the Wild need to go 7-7 in their remaining 14 games
Remaining opponents:
@ NAS x2
@ STL x2
LAK
@ EDM
@ DAL
SJ
@ MON
VAN
SEA
AZ
CAL
COL
Can they do it?
The Wild lost Kirill Kaprizov during the Boston game. Beat the Bruins AND Capitals and now he’s back and he looks like an absolute demon out there. When the Wild get back to full strength 👀

@eliteprospects
The Minnesota Wild roster is DEAD LAST in both average height and average weight in the entire NHL. The Wild are also the 7th oldest based on average age. You can hate on it all you want but this roster HAS to find a way to get bigger
The Minnesota Wild finished the preseason with:
0 new injuries
Noticeably better Penalty Kill numbers (30/32)
2 young players (Rossi/Addison) EARNING roster spots
BOTH Goalies looking good
Same great Kaprizov-Zuccarello chemistry
What's not to love heading into the season?
This is infinitely more embarrassing to me than 2016-17. At least you could pin that on Jake Allen
This is just an absolute whole ass no show after Game 3
The only player who can expect to be on the roster next season is Kirill Kaprizov
Good morning,
Despite the hideous 0-3 start
Despite missing Brodin and Kaprizov for extended stretches
Despite a goal draught early on
Despite all of that
Your Minnesota Wild with 9 games to go, stand alone in first place
Amazing resolve shown by this team all season
I’m late to the party, not a credentialed member of the Vikings media channels but congratulations to Brian Flores. Can’t wait to see what he does with the Vikings defense
Good morning.
Your
#mnwild
have pulled even with Calgary in the Western Conference with 89 points.
Kirill Kaprizov is 6th in the NHL with 85 points
Enjoy your Sunday
BREAKING: ACCORDING TO DEAN ON FACEBOOK KIRILL KAPRIZOV IS EXPECTED TO SIGN WITH THE KHL AND HAD NO INTENTION OF RE-SIGNING WITH THE WILD AT ANY POINT. MORE FROM DEAN "HE HATED IT HERE. I'VE WATCHED A LOT OF HOCKEY. I COULD JUST TELL. HE DIDN'T LIKE MINNESOTA."
What a bombshell
Liam Ohgren and Marat Khusnutdinov both banking 15 plus minutes was everything I wanted tonight
Ohgren: 4 shots 2 takeaways
Khusnutdinov: 1 shot attempt, 1 block 7/11 faceoffs
Both got special teams time
DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELIGHTFUL
Bill Guerin mentioning that Brock Faber played the final 2 months of the season with fractured ribs.
I wouldn't be able to podcast with fractured ribs, let alone play 25 minutes a night on the ice
MAF caught in between and flying in to try to make the empty net save probably vaults into my top 5 Fleury moments in MN. Wanting to fight Binnington is still tops
Playoff hockey is many things.
That Spurgeon stick to ankle play is as far from Playoff hockey as there is. There have been more than a few people trying to chalk that up to "competitive juices"
Plz don't. I love Spurgeon. But that is despicable
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA AN EMPTY NETTER WITH 1.9 SECONDS REMAINING
DUEL HAT TRICKS
THIS GAME WAS CRISIS LEVELS OF CHAOTIC
A 6 GOAL 3RD PERIOD ARE YOU CRAZY?
10-7
#mnwild
Franchise record for goals in a game.
I need a drink and a cigarette
Vikings kicker options continue to pile up:
Matt Bryant
Dan Bailey
Cody Parkey
Kai Forbath
Pete Wheeler
Me with a broken leg
Gary Anderson
Blair Walsh
Mike Zimmer
Sebastian Janikowski
Club Foot guy
Mr. Deeds
Doug Flutie
Earnest P. Warrell
MacGuyver
TC Bear
An actual robot
Alf
Me
Not exaggerating in the slightest when I say this.
Marc-Andre Fleury may have saved the season with his performance tonight. Didn't have to do a ton, but made the shootout saves when it mattered most.
Fucking stupid. That trash ass organization gets every single fucking call to go their way. Imagine being such a sensitive fan base and ownership group that you couldn’t handle having 1 call go against you. Take that block of cheese and shove it up your ass
Gersson Rosas, who was part of the front office that brought James Harden to Houston and nearly went to the NBA Finals if not for going 0-27 from 3 in Game 7 against Golden State, was brought in to revamp this franchise and people are pissed we won't compete in year 1. Incredible
Hey
@jjmccarthy09
welcome to Minnesota. I hear you’re a big hockey guy.
Hey
@mnwild
how cool would it be to introduce Wild fans to the new Vikings QB by having him do Lets Play Hockey sometime next season
The Wild now have:
Top 10 PK
Top 10 PP
2nd best statistical goalie in the NHL
If you can grab somebody offensively that can help in 5 on 5 AND on the Power Play? You can be in the conversation for the division, which sounds insane considering how the season started

Sources tell me Stefon Diggs, Adam Thielen and Dalvin Cook will all be traded because some guy was able to make it work playing Madden in his mom's basement. Working to confirm
The Minnesota Wild also tied their franchise record for goals in a season today with 263 back in 2016-17. So when Mike Smith gets beaten on the first Wild shot on Tuesday they will break the record
So:
Marcus Johansson has been sensational. Matt Boldy is back. Joel Eriksson Ek fits in perfectly. That second line is playing on the same level that they did last year. What a gorgeous second goal
Not sure what my favorite development for the Vikings is so far through 3 games but Everson Griffen being a complete and utter monster is definitely way way up there
one of the greatest games you'll ever see. And it came down to the last bounce
EVERY
SINGLE
PLAYER bought in to what it was going to take to beat the Stars on the road. What an unbelievable win. What a way to start the series
The Wild have now taken on salary twice in trades. The returns:
A 2025 4th rounder
A 2023 fifth rounder
Those are the going rates for these types of moves, going back many years. Bill Guerin hasn’t prevented any additions with these moves
EVERYONE PLEASE BREATHE
