Olivier Sarr should be eligible immediately.Have alway felt when a school makes a coaching change players should have the opportunity to transfer. Especially in Wake situation where they made the change so late in the process.The WFU administration should support his appeal.
@SethOnHoops
Has it ever been done before though? A lot of people saying although you should get a waiver, you probably won’t. Just based off numerous transfers who have previously been in the exact situations before who ultimately got denied

He will be eligible with everything going on. They will make it harder since he’s going to UK but ultimately he will be fine.

You would think that Cal wouldn’t bring this guy in if he didn’t know that he had a good chance to be eligible especially since Sarr said he wouldn’t sit for a year and Cal knowing he needs a big man.
@SethOnHoops
I agree with this, but it goes against NCAA policy. If they’re going to break the rules for Sarr to play, then Isaiah Wilkins should also be cleared as well. Young told Wilkins that he didn’t fit his scheme and would never play at VT, and should transfer in his best interest...
@SethOnHoops
Sorry Seth, NCAA set precedent last year with Joel Ntambwe being denied at Texas Tech, after a coaching change at UNLV. Would be so hypocritical of NCAA to change stance for exact same situation.
@SethOnHoops
ALL the kids should be granted eligibility! The media that clearly has nothing to do, needs to get off Wake being some bad guy in all this. Nobody put Sarr in handcuffs as your recent article suggests. Ridiculous click bait.
