Cassius Winston was Aaron Henry 2 years ago. Last night Winston was a leader saying coach I got this.He grew by being held accountable He grew by being coached hard. He knows how much his coach cares. There is nothing wrong with accountability. Enough with everyone gets a trophy

@SethOnHoops Seth, would you agree that most coaches in America care for their players? Would you also agree that most coaches in America have never been restrained from going at a player? There are many ways to have accountability on a team that don't include what Izzo did last night.

@SethOnHoops @durb1220 This is not about holding people accountable! It’s not the message that is at issue. It’s the actions and rage that are the issues. Please learn to separate the two.

@SethOnHoops Not a ‘get a trophy’ discussion, Seth. No one said the kid needed a pat on the back, but he didn’t need to be laid into like that... two different discussions, man. Don’t mix them up. You can coach a kid through a mistake without THAT.

@SethOnHoops Get em! It's amazing how people, mind you not the ones around Izzo and Henry on a regular basis, freaked out about this. Meanwhile you can see in his response to the coach's criticism that it was exactly what he needed. Someone's we all need a kick in the butt #BBN

@SethOnHoops Spot on Seth. Anybody that has an issue with Izzo from yesterday is just plain soft.

@SethOnHoops You think that overreaction is holding someone accountable? Needing to be restrained by players more than once. Nah that is Izzo just being Izzo. Other coaches find ways to hold players accountable without embarrassing them. He is whiny, vindictive, and an excuse maker.

@SethOnHoops Our daughter was the Aaron Henry back in the day. Repeatedly being told what to do during the game, and insisting she was doing it right! Show her film, and explain AGAIN, she would get it! Well there’s no time for fricken film, he needs to get it right now!!! One and done baby

@SethOnHoops No one is complaining about Henry being held accountable. THAT'S SPIN! They're saying that Izzo is out of control. Your sup or boss comes at you like that tomorrow Seth, or you're the boss and do that to you staff... What happens next? Dude has his fist balled up at a KID

@SethOnHoops @SpartanInsight He also said his coach’s message and approach wasn’t working. I think this crossed the line just a bit and it was ugly.

@SethOnHoops @TheUNOVisit The outrage here is absurd...I keep seeing people say “he crossed the line”...exactly what line did he cross?? He didn’t strike the player; he wasn’t “restrained” in the sense if someone else hadn’t been there he would’ve struck Henry. (1/2)

@SethOnHoops @TheUNOVisit No one cares for their guys more than Izzo. He just happens to feed off confrontation. Many people in life do, highly successful people. Kids know what they’re getting when they come here. He’s as passionate a coach as you may see and tells it like it is. (2/2)
