@ScriptingJapan I know exact what you mean! Understanding daily conversations in Japanese is actually harder because the Japanese culture is isolated and it develops very differently from Anglophone cultural contexts. I'm kinda like you when it comes to Japanese. 😉

@ScriptingJapan I'm the same with Italian and Portuguese. Watching the News or intellectual debates on TV in those languages, I can follow almost everything. If the next program that comes on is a soap opera - I can barely understand anything. 🙄
