I have one interview question I use to find real ML engineers: "Explain Backpropagation. No, not the concept. The math. From scratch." 9 out of 10 candidates can't. They can use a library. They can't build one. The 1/10 who can? They've all built the foundation. This 26-video

This paper really is groundbreaking. It solves a long-standing embarrassment in machine learning: despite all the hype around deep learning, traditional tree-based methods (XGBoost, CatBoost, random forests, etc) have dominated tabular data—the most common data format in

$BTC Got an interesting setup on the daily chart which is the only thing worth paying attention to. The story is now the confirmed bottom vs the stage 4 downtrend channel. Who wins?

#BTC Based on what I see in ETHUSD, I do expect BTC to break (C) at $93k which means it's supposed to do a "double correction" Targets BTCUSD: 96-97k ETHUSD: 3200-3300 I'll do a video tomorrow explaining this and show what is needed to invalidate the outlook for 1 more down.

#BTC update Bounced as expected and even a bit stronger.... It's just above my red box. The move shown in the chart (from yesterday) is invalidated if it manages to break above (C). If so, it could go to ~96k before possibly turning lower again.

Users wanted a way to permanently turn on the "Smart/Slow" models, and/or save their preferred AI aggregator model between rooms. Our new "Save Default Settings" menu will do this. Keep posting public feature requests 😀

@CryptoHayes Arthur, I’m honestly surprised you’re reading it this way. You’re treating Tether’s $6.8B “reserve surplus” as if it’s their entire equity, it isn’t. A 30% drop in BTC + gold would hit that surplus, yes. And even after that drop, Tether would still hold over $170B in mostly

The Tether folks are in the early innings of running a massive interest rate trade. How I read this audit is they think the Fed will cut rates which crushes their interest income. In response, they are buying gold and $BTC that should in theory moon as the price of money falls.

The single best way to learn neural networks is to build them from scratch. When I was a grad student, there were no good resources for this, and I struggled for weeks: losing my bearings in object-oriented design, endlessly debugging functions involving NumPy array operations
