The pilot is INDIAN, the aircraft is INDIAN. The rush to judge the pilot is disgraceful. Display flying lives at the edge of man and machine. It has a purpose, not vanity. The finest are chosen and sometimes we lose the finest. Respond with dignity, restraint and empathy.
It appears to be the first time an Indian fighter jet has been lost in peacetime outside our borders. A heartbreaking milestone. Combat and display flying remain unforgiving, whatever the age or sophistication of the aircraft. Holding the family in my prayers.

Sometimes you feel connected to things even though you're not directly associated, such is my connection with armed forces. Mig-21's decommissioning ceremony was one of the many such moments over the years now. Had to get this book!! @zone5aviation @SauravChordia1
