A simple but brilliant idea by our housekeeping team to improve communication, swallow safety, nutrition and patient experience for our patients in ICU. Accessible in the ICU patient’s kitchen for all the MDT @SLTMelV @nbt_dietitians @TissueNBT 🏥🍴😋

The NHS is like a slowly sinking ship right now. Wd’ll be told we just need to do a bit more. Bail a bit more water out. And if the ship sinks it will be because the staff didn’t work hard enough 🤦‍♂️ Reality: Everyone is already busier than they have ever been before.

Several trusts have declared critical incidents in the last 24 hrs; some calling in all staff due to exceptional hospital pressures. Derby. Brighton. Nottingham. Grampian. Stoke. Watching from afar as an emergency medicine doctor of 20 years, never seen anything quite like it🤯
