It was a privilege to attend the annual Remembrance Sunday Parade and Armistice Day Service, and honour the men and women of Salisbury, and of our nation, who gave their lives in two world wars and in the conflicts that followed.

I visited Salisbury Pantry last week for a meeting with an enthusiastic group to discuss ways of promoting and supporting their hard-working team. The Pantry plays an important role in providing food for the local community and reducing food waste.

It was an honour to welcome Mayor of Salisbury, North Carolina, Tamara Sheffield, to Salisbury, UK, last week. May the connection between our two Salisburys continue to thrive, and may this visit mark another chapter in our ongoing story of friendship!

Great day out at the Chickerell Steam & Vintage Show, part of the Mayor of Chickerell's Civic Day, organised by Mayor Cllr Andrew Reid. Two days of entertainment, arts & crafts, vintage cars, steam vehicles, charity stalls and good food. This annual event is well worth a visit!
