ECI rules require political parties to disclose expenditure on political ads. Also FB has rules around political ads & requires "transparency" on the sponsor. But BJP is funding several proxy pages to run ads targeting the Opposition & spending CRORES Here's examples... (2/8)

2. Political X-Ray This is another BJP proxy page with ONLY 5200 followers. The page was created on 7th December, 2023. In JUST the last 3 months, this page has spent over 98 lacs (almost ₹ 1 crore) on filthy pro-BJP ads targeting Opposition parties (4/8)

3. Ulta Chasmaa This one takes the CAKE. This pro-BJP proxy page has ONLY 7800 followers. The page was created on 6th Nov, 2023 (just 4 months ago) And in the last 4 months, this page has run pro-BJP ads targeting the Opposition worth ₹2.5 CRORES! (5/8)

These are ONLY 3 examples from hundreds of pro-BJP proxy pages. Just 3 pages with about 15,000 followers have spent OVER ₹4 CRORES in just last 3 months on pro-BJP ads targeting the Opposition. It is CRYSTAL CLEAR that the money is coming from the BJP (6/8)

None of these ad spends will ever show in BJP's election expenditure report - because these are "unofficial" through proxy pages. BJP is spending crores in secret ways to these page operators for running ads for Lok Sabha elections. How is this payment being done? CASH? (7/8)

Question is - Why is Election Commission turning a blind eye & allowing this? Why is Facebook not stopping violation of political advertising rules by BJP using proxy pages? BJP is manipulating the Lok Sabha elections openly using crores it got from electoral bonds. (8/8)
