P5/6 put their place value skills to the test in fun, active maths stations! Using concrete materials they practised reading, writing (numbers & words), partitioning, and identifying the value of digits—extending their knowledge to 1 million!🔢@NLCLearningHub @SplashLearn

This week P5/6 were exploring Titanic through poetry, applying reading comprehension strategies to deepen their understanding. They learned what makes poetry unique - lines,stanzas, rhyme,rhythm & meter, before diving into non-fiction Titanic texts on #Epic📚🚢 @NLCLearningHub
