My grandma had me at her house every Sunday for 6 months…Snapping beans, picking greens, and learning how to make the dressing…For “When she’s gone” that was 15 years ago. She’ll be 97 Tuesday…So I had to show my mom how to make the dressing.
As someone who didn’t come from a family of chefs and didn’t really get the opportunity to learn deeply but would like to do better, sorry if this sounds silly but how did yall learn to cook (and I mean like throw down)? Did yall just watch family? Cookbooks? What was the process
