@SVG__Collection Yeah, ya know - par usual - you didn’t ask me for an involved response, but I’ll give ya one anyway… Seen most o’ these pieces up-close and at-length. There was a career-retrospective of Basquiat’s art about 15 or 20 years ago here at MOCA downtown, and a painter friend o’ mine

@SVG__Collection One of my favorite artists. You've shared some great examples of his art. He was also very into music and part of a band called Gray. https://t.co/S7eG82qyxx

@SVG__Collection Basquiat's artwork is very cool and interesting. Some time ago, I watched Julian Schnabel's film about his life and work.

@DanRyanNeff I’ve always loved his work. Went to the big exhibition in Paris a couple years ago. Incredible stuff…

@SVG__Collection Is it true that he was having the Asberger Syndrom too, untreated? And that was the reason for many of his problems? I ask because I think we have that in common. The addiction was a result of constant isolation because he was different. Anyway,he had no easy life. Love him a lot!

@SVG__Collection What I find compelling, is that he and his work are experiencing a renaissance… at this time… I. This error of global tumult. Only he could interpret and express such tension. One can only wonder what his work would look like now.
