The NHS is introducing a new five-minute injection for 15 types of cancer, including skin, bladder and oesophageal. NHS staff administering the jab could save around 1,000 hours of treatment time for patients and clinicians every month. ➡️ https://t.co/gMCtLD3vrZ

‘We do all sorts of difficult things in our job, but it’s for people like Albert.’ Albert recently thanked Mr Golash, Consultant Urologist at @UHNM_NHS, who saved his life 18 years ago after being given months to live following a kidney cancer diagnosis.

Rapid access to tests ensure that people with cancer start treatment as soon as possible – and will help put people's minds at rest. This is an important step forward that thousands more patients each month are getting the all-clear or a diagnosis within four weeks.
⏳ We’re cutting waiting lists through faster diagnosis of cancer. 📈 80,000 more people received their cancer diagnosis or all clear within 28 days between July 2024 and January 2025. ✅ Through our Plan for Change, we're improving NHS care for all. https://t.co/d0iDZSQxMl

Idea already posted: "The Red Book given to new parents should have information about taking their children for sight tests. Children do not need to be able to read to have their eyes tested & recommended to start sight tests from age 3!" https://t.co/g9NwJFj1hM
