We’re trying to get as many followers as Rishi Sunak so we can show the government just how many people are prepared to fight for the NHS and its staff. Please can you help by following us and retweeting this?

What a great day spent with the @stthomasmorebux chaplaincy team and @hpchaplain preparing for next year. The team captains prepared an awesome day of training for everyone 🙏Dr Kelly’s session on sustainability also highlighted some worthy causes to get involved in.

Alternative Transport Week day 2. It’s annoying when I have to use the car but managed not to today. More sun and more flies.

Just reading this. Humans he says are ‘incapable of sacrificing present convenience to forestall a penalty imposed on future generations’. @Pontifex says that ‘intergenerational solidarity is not optional, but a basic question of justice’. Let’s get more long term thinking done.

Alternative Transport Week starts today so I’m doing the train/cycling tango. The ticket machine slightly over did it though, especially seeing as it’s a single trip. @Jo_Pettifer_SRS @SRSCMAT

I don’t know what they are but following @Jo_Pettifer_SRS ‘s advice, we’ve left 1/2 our back lawn to go wild. It’s a great way to encourage our pollinators into our gardens.

Today, and for the next few days, 1000’s of people, from dozens of different climate and social justice groups and religions are gathering in London to tell the government that we cannot continue as we are if there is to be a future for our children. Good luck to them all.

This Weeks Word of the Week is Almsgiving. What ways can we give to those in need? Time, love, understanding or compassion.

Happy Anniversary, @Pontifex ! #TenYearsPopeFrancis "What is love? It is not something vague, some generic feeling. God’s love has a name and a face: Jesus Christ, Jesus. Love for God is made manifest in Jesus… It is a love that gives value and beauty to everything else…"

This Weeks Word of the Week is Fasting. Giving up something, whether something physical, mental or emotional is one of things we’re meant to try in Lent. ‘Try’ because it’s definitely not easy, but trying and failing is better than not trying at all.
