It has nothing to do with whether or not it is online. The teams that happened to be the best in 2018 and 2019 are just being bested wrt skills and strategy.

Some "giants" lost as they should because they do not change, do not improve, and such "analyst" start to make so strange and sometimes really stupid conclusions....wake up!!!

It’s been fun watching events where anyone can win, ngl. Truly enjoying it. Giants can’t rest on their laurels, need to adapt or die. Gets boring seeing Astralis win every event, love seeing teams like Furia, VP, Gambit, Spirt etc out here taking it to the big boys.

Y'all just need to be going to locations where there aren't covid restrictions. It doesn't matter how on the ball you are with training if the whole scene dies because a bunch of healthy 20 year olds need to be quarantined.

Online CS is killing CS scene, no one cares about Gambit or Furia ( teams that would not exist in a LAN) and have absolut 0 hype for 1 final with then

I think its bigger than that, too. As a gamer, my capacity to watch pros and gain insight into their gameplay has become gargantuan with the advent of twitch. This in turn elevates my gameplay, with plenty of time to practice at home.

100%. Just look at 2020,the top3 teams (Astralis,Navi, Vit) were the same teams that were top3-5 in previous years(LAN). They adapted,still won trophies.. It's not an excuse, those who can't keep up, AFTER MORE THAN 1 YEAR, perhaps are not as good anymore.

I still don't understand how you can discredit the cs of gambit because it's not on LAN... Sure, you probably can't take as many risks on LAN, but this is the closest any team has come to perfection since Astralis. They got at least 12 rounds in every single map in EPL
